Job Summary
This role ensures top-tier painting quality by accurately following technical data sheets and SOPs, expertly operating painting equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Job Details
- Adhere strictly to paint manufacturer specifications and SOPs for mixing and application.
- Prepare surfaces (sanding, filling, cleaning) to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Operate spray guns and painting machines effectively to apply consistent, defect-free coatings.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform visual quality checks and make touch-ups as needed to meet standards.
Requirements
- Have at least an HND/OND qualification or a relevant Trade Test certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint application, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spray painting, managing paint types, and achieving professional finishing on all painting projects.
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and ability to follow SOPs.
- Able to log time and activity via systems like GSS; reliable in recording work accurately.
